If you're planning a trip to Canada anytime soon, and you should, you're going to need a car to get around, because as the world's second largest country, Canada's a very big place, and you'll need transportation if you expect to see any part of it.
Sure, if you only intend on staying in cities like Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal, you'll be able to do fine with local public transit, taxi cabs, or local sightseeing tour buses. But if you expect to travel to see the Rockies or the Prairies, or go "coast to coast", you're going to need a car rental to get you through your travels. |

Canada: a Different Kind of Vacation
Are you looking for a different kind of vacation? One that values crisp, clean air over sweltering temperatures, outdoor activities abound over lying around on sand or family-friendly adventures as opposed to bikini-clad travelers prancing around? If so, you've come to the right place. Canada is a vast and diverse country with dozens of favored vacation destinations.
Rent Timeshare to Explore Several Regions
If you're planning on traveling Canada, consider renting a Canada timeshare rather than a hotel or motel room. Owners pay reduced rates for their timeshare because they're divided among multiple people. When you rent timeshare from these owners you'll generally reap the benefits of their reduced rates, and as an added bonus, timeshare units tend to be larger and better-equipped than other accommodation options because with so many owners pitching in there's more funds to put toward amenities and services. Renting is also a great way to get to know a few different areas of Canada, from the quiet mountains of Whistler to the bustling city of Montreal.

Calgary is the largest and fastest growing city in the province of Alberta, Canada. Located in the south of this prairie province, in a region of foothills and high plains, Calgary lies approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi) east of the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies.
Known affectionately as "Cowtown", Calgary is the third largest civic municipality, by population, in Canada. As of the 2007 civic census, Calgary's population was 1,019,942. The metropolitan population (CMA) was 1,079,310 in 2006, making Greater Calgary the fifth largest census metropolitan area in the country. Because it is located 300 kilometres (185 mi) due south of Edmonton, statisticians define the narrow populated region between these cities as the "Calgary-Edmonton Corridor". It is the largest Canadian metropolitan area between Toronto and Vancouver.
