The Vancouver Canucks play their home games at General Motors Place, a modern arena facility that holds nearly 20,000 spectators. It's a quick trip by cab, bus, boat, or Aquabus from different parts of Vancouver, making Granville Island very accessible for visitors.

Vancouver's Pacific National Exhibition (the PNE) is an annual fair that takes place for two weeks at the end of August in beautiful British Columbia. The fair, which combines agricultural competitions with amusement entertainment is a yearly tradition in Vancouver, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors.
Every year, the PNE hosts top entertainment acts, great food, wonderful craft exhibits, special events such as the Superdogs, and is known for its famous PNE prize home which is always on display on the fairgrounds before being won by some lucky fair-goer. All this, combined with the world-famous Playland and it's 50-year-old wooden roller coaster, makes the Pacific National Exhibition attractive to tourists and locals alike.
Whether you are just looking for fun on the Midway playing games of chance, wishing to relax in the beer gardens, or you wish to review some of B.C.'s prize-winning livestock, the PNE has plenty to offer for everyone. All-day ride passes on the large variety of amusement rides will challenge even the heartiest stomaches, stomaches that are often filled with those Little Donuts, elephant ears, or cheeseburgers topped with fried onions.
